Account Supervisor
Our Opportunity:
Chewy is looking for an Account Supervisor to join our Creative Services Team based in Dania Beach, FL. Our Account Managers foster best-in-class creative outcomes that deliver on our internal partners’ business objectives. They understand what strong relationships require and the best practices for growing them while delivering an exceptional level of customer service. In this role, you will manage a team of Account Managers supporting Chewy’s Proprietary Brands (PB) team and partner with internal Project Managers, Marketing leads, and Business teams to launch PB products through the execution and delivery of best-in-class creative. You will partner with Creative Leaders to develop and execute creative strategies and solutions for our partners’ business challenges. You will be involved in defining marketing engagements for complex cross-functional, cross-category programs, juggling multiple projects from start to finish with a focus in creative strategy across brand and product for a variety of end uses: packaging, print and digital marketing, and seasonal and promotional campaigns for both category specific and integrated marketing efforts. A passion for pets and culturally defining consumer brands is a must.
What you'll do:
- Manage and motivate a highly engaged, effective team of Account Managers who lead cross-functional, multi-disciplinary programs and/or campaigns for Chewy’s Proprietary Brands.
- Partner with PB Merchandising and marketing managers to intake strategies that achieve their goals and deliver against key objectives and drivers for the organization.
- Develop strong working relationships, establishing a role with internal and external partners as a trusted resource and advisor. Influence strategy and creative.
- Work with marketing stakeholders to develop roadmaps and identify key consumer touchpoints across site, email, digital media, social and content creation.
- Be the expert on how creative performance will be measured and what success looks like for every engagement. Elevate your creative teams with that knowledge.
- Assure all internal and external stakeholders are aligned on core programs.
- Be extremely comfortable presenting to senior level clients: consistently evoke trust and credibility through strategic thinking and communication style when presenting to leadership.
- Ensure flawless development and execution of brand marketing tactics.
- Proactively and effectively communicate internal and external business recommendations, priorities, risks and tradeoffs to ensure quality control, brand reputation and best business practices.
- Deep knowledge and experience in defining and executing a wide variety of integrated brand efforts, development cycles, process, and best practices.
- Manage and define scopes of work and creative approach.
- Be an ambassador for Creative Services in presentations and strategy discussions, instill a passion for collaboration, teamwork and inspiration.
- Forecast, track and report on partner programs and provide key insights to Senior Leadership to inform business operations and strategic planning.
- Roll up your sleeves to pitch in wherever needed.
What you'll need:
- Bachelor’s degree required in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English or related field
- 7+ years account/brand management experience within an agency or marketing department setting, preferably with retail/e-commerce or CPG experience
- 3+ years managing direct reports; proven ability to motivate and/or mentor team members, fostering a positive team environment and culture
- A demonstrated track record of gaining trust and respect by consistently demonstrating sound critical thinking skills and maintaining composure in all situations while delivering results
- Ability to think and perform both tactically and strategically
- Excellent communication, a heightened sense of ownership, team responsibility and accountability
- Must perform tasks as a leader – is a problem solver internally and for the stakeholder
- Must be organized, forward-looking, highly detail oriented and proactive
- Must be the ultimate team player, adaptable to a fast growing, changing environment; this role will work closely with multiple Proprietary Brands teams, departments, and leaders at all levels
- Must be willing to go above and beyond to deliver on business needs, even if not directly in your skillset
- Proficiency in software/platforms like JIRA and Workfront a plus
