Big Health is looking for an exceptional, experienced Illustrator for Animation to translate the best science-based mental health therapies into accessible and engaging content. Through radical collaboration with our clinical team, designers, and animators, you will craft impactful stories to help people reframe their mental health challenges, and learn the most effective techniques to manage better.

What you'll do:

• Collaborate with product teams, visual designers and clinical experts to develop brand new ways to deliver therapeutic techniques to those suffering from anxiety, insomnia and depression.
• Craft illustrations and storyboards for animations that live as the centerpieces to our product experiences. 
• Design memorable characters and worlds that resonate with our audience and help define our products and brand. 
• Partner with our animation team to bring your art and storyboards to life.
• Evolve the illustration and animation style and design to ensure inclusivity and diversity.

What you bring:

• 4+ years prior professional experience. 
• You can translate emotion into image and bring characters to life with a thorough understanding of visual storytelling, narrative arc, and timing. 
• You can design style frames and storyboards and prepare your illustration files for animation. 
• Excellent communication skills to articulate ideas and design decisions and work with our animation team to produce high-quality output.
• You enjoy working in a team and collaborating with experts in other fields to reach a shared outcome. 
• Excellent skills in all the relevant design/animation programs.
