The Graphic Designer is part of a multidisciplinary team responsible for the creation of projects ranging from print collateral, digital campaigns, reports, advertisements to environmental graphics. This individual has a passion for impeccable design, the ability to transform ideas into compelling visual assets in a fast-paced environment, and a good understanding of design and brand consistency within all marketing mediums. This individual demonstrates an eagerness to evolve and learn, and is always looking for ways to improve and add tools to their toolbox.

What you'll do:

  • Create dynamic, fresh communications that maintain brand integrity and elevate the brand internally and externally
  • Research, ideate, send proofs and see projects through to completion to meet and occasionally exceed the needs of our customers
  • Work in collaboration with multi-functional business teams to ensure that processes, projects, and interactions with our customers are consistently engaging and enlightening
  • Work as the lead designer on several projects while sharing responsibilities on others
  • Attend meetings as the subject matter expert and keep projects aligned with the brand
  • Help brainstorm, strategize and offer solutions for key initiatives and high-profile projects
  • Act as a liaison for external agencies and in-kind partners
  • Collaborate with various vendors to secure estimates, prepare artwork and complete projects
  • Keep supplies on-hand, equipment in working order and software up to date
  • Oversee graphic design finishing equipment, supplies, and regularly assess needs for additional or updated finishing equipment
  • Proactively seek out ways to enhance and deepen your knowledge and skillset within your profession. Including but not be limited to broadening your skills through classes or webinars, subscribing to a trade journal, participating in local professional organization activities, or seeking out mentoring opportunities

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design and 3 years professional design experience (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted to meet this requirement)
  • Very good understanding in Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office
  • Must have a vast understanding and love of typography, layout and design principles
  • Obsessed with clear communication and have the ability to simplify complicated information
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities quickly and efficiently with tight deadlines
  • Proactive and self-motivated in a fast-paced environment
  • Curious and have the desire to learn more - keep up with industry trends and software

The ability to meet or exceed the attendance and timeliness requirements of their departments.

The ability to work well in a team environment, and be capable of building and maintaining positive relationships with other staff, departments, and customers.
