The Operations Strategy team focuses on continuing to develop and define processes within the fulfillment centers that will lead to increased operational efficiencies, continued SKU expansion, and simplify the life of the operations teams. This role will be responsible for determining automation technologies that can fit within the fulfillment centers to help drive SKU expansion and throughput capabilities while continuing to focus on driving down operational costs. 

You will:

• Work with operations leadership teams across all fulfillment centers to help introduce and manage installation of new automation technologies
• Providing technical leadership in design and development for integrating automation technologies
  
• Develop relationships with automation vendors who have the technology that makes sense to integrate into our fulfillment centers 
• Direct the development of custom-proprietary manufacturing solutions
• Own the integration of new manufacturing technologies from requirements gathering to factory bring-up
• Design and conduct system validation and compliance testing
• Develop and execute automation strategy including visions, goals, and budgets
• Foster collaboration between cross functional teams and stakeholders
• Manage Automation technology roadmap in collaboration with Product Management

You have:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field and 5 years’ experience in Engineering, supply chain, or a related area
• 3 years of automation design implementation in e-commerce buildings
• 10+ years in production, fulfillment, or distribution environment
• Ability to effectively communicate and respond to concerns of managers and associates
• Excellent writing, statistical, analytical, and critical thinking skills
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous and fast paced environment
