Your Impact on our Mission
Zocdoc’s most important asset is our people.  As the Director of the Creative/Brand Studio, you will be responsible for Zocdoc’s brand voice and mission to patients, providers and more. You will lead and build a team of talented designers, writers and project managers to create campaigns and brand moments. You will partner with internal stakeholders to pull from your team and excellent outside partners to find the right fit for each project. This role reports into the VP of Marketing.

Your day to day is…

  • Leading Zocdoc’s Brand Studio, a multifunctional team of designers, copywriters, project managers and more
  • Establishing and enforcing Zocdoc’s brand voice, including tone and visual style, across multiple audiences
  • Leading in house and partner agencies to create patient and provider marketing campaigns; including TV ads, OOH, emails, banners, landing pages, digital video, reports, etc.
  • Leveraging performance and insights to iterate and improve creative executions
  • Recruiting and retaining top creative talent from across the industry
  • Building a stable of top creative partner agencies and freelancers for different projects
  • Ensuring brand alignment by partnering with our Product and Marketing teams
  • Helping define the structure the future of our Brand Studio by hiring a best in class team across disciplines 
  • Sourcing and managing a portfolio of excellent external partners to balance out internal capabilities
  • Representing the brand and creative at the leadership level for the company
  • Presenting brand work to all levels of the company

You’ll be successful in this role if you have…

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in creative roles, including 5+ years managing creative talent
  • Experience creating and executing digital campaigns while leveraging data to optimize performance
  • Experience upholding and maintaining brand voice across multiple audiences
  • Previous experience hiring, developing, and managing a team
  • An unrelenting desire to build more equitable, inclusive and diverse workplaces.  You view this role as an opportunity to create positive change
  • The mentality of an entrepreneur/owner and a strong bias to action. 
  • Superb communication skills! You believe in keeping all of your stakeholders in the loop and know that multiple mediums of communication are the key to success

Return to Office

The safety and health of our team members is our top priority. As local case numbers and regulations allow, our NYC office will be accessible to all fully vaccinated employees five days a week, though working in-office remains completely voluntary; everyone is invited but nobody is required to work in the office.
