What you will do

We are looking for a Creative, Vibrant and Enthusiastic Design Lead who is passionate about creating user-friendly and engaging digital experience. You will work closely with our Employee Experience lead, Product Managers, Developers, Operations and Commercial teams to understand business needs and deliver designs that meet expectations. You will be responsible for leading the design process from planning to conducting design thinking workshops and working with UX and Visual designer throughout the research to prototyping journey while ensuring delivery of high-quality designs. You will apply critical thinking and creativity to develop solutions to complex problems and play a key role in supporting Kenvue’s digital transformation journey.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead and mentor a team of UX designers, Visual designers, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

· Manage multiple priorities across projects and ensure timely delivery of high-quality design outputs.

· Define and maintain UX standards, guidelines, governance processes and best practices across all digital products.

· Design user experiences for data products, dashboards, and BI tools that enable actionable insights and decision-making.

· Collaborate with data teams to ensure visualization and interaction patterns are intuitive and aligned with user needs.

· Drive the creation of impactful digital designs that enhance user experience and operational efficiency.

· Plan and conduct design thinking workshops with right-set of audience and capture requirements.

· Lead the E2E design thinking process for multiple projects.

· Conduct user research and analysis to understand the problems, needs, and goals of users.

· Create user personas, user journeys, user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate and validate design ideas.

· Apply design thinking and user-centered design principles to create innovative and intuitive user interfaces and interactions.

· Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other designers to ensure alignment and consistency across the product lifecycle.

· Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in UX design and tools.

· Develop interactive prototypes using tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.

· Conduct usability testing and user feedback sessions to validate and iterate the design solutions.

· Present and document the design deliverables and rationale to the stakeholders and internal teams.

· Championing the design process to internal and external stakeholders

· Estimate and plan the work and time needed for deliverables accurately.

· Work with deadlines, in a changing environment and across different time-zones.

· Conduct iterative reviews, collect feedback, and co-create with internal and external stakeholders.

· Execute robust UI testing and manage the meticulous reporting and tracking of bugs/changes.

· Communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams for smooth handovers.

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor’s or master’s degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.

· 7+ years of experience in UX design, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.

· Proven expertise in design thinking, user research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing.

· Strong portfolio demonstrating impactful digital solutions for enterprise, commercial, and data-related applications.

· Experience designing data-driven products and working with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik).

· Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and visual design tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign.

· Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

· Mastery of design fundamentals (form, color, balance, harmony, etc.) and practical knowledge of the design process, including system maps, mind maps, personas, journey maps, wireframes, style guides, VD assets, and spec docs.

· Advanced experience with Design Thinking processes and tools (e.g., Mural, Miro, MS Whiteboard, FigJam)

· Proven experience in conducting design thinking sessions with stakeholders

· Up-to-date knowledge of UX/UI design trends, frameworks, libraries, and guidelines across web, iOS, Android, Windows, and BI platforms.

· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions.

· Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, and adaptability to different contexts and challenges.

· High levels of persistence, self-drive, enthusiasm, and a responsible attitude to deliver high-quality work within deadlines.

· Balanced interest in both technology and aesthetics.

Desired Qualifications

· Master’s degree or equivalent in Design Thinking & Innovation is preferred.

· Experience in Supply Chain/ Commercial domain or with any CPG company is preferred.

· Understanding databases and data structures for better design of data-centric applications.

· Familiarity with ERP applications (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and their UX considerations.

· Experience managing multiple priorities, team leadership, and mentoring designers

· An attentive observer and listener; quickly grasps the smallest details of stakeholder’s business challenge; embraces complexity.

· Ability to describe end user with clear and precise details.

· Strong creative thinker; able to imagine new and intuitive solutions for difficult UX problems.

· Aware of the differences and challenges of cross device and cross platform design and delivery - Grids, pixel densities etc.

· Solid understanding of usability and other design best practices.

· Solid understanding of primary and secondary User research, User validation and User testing.

· Ability to prioritize accurately and create simple and intuitive user flows and interfaces.
