ID Technology is seeking a Summer Intern to assist with various engineering projects. The position reports to the Project Engineering Manager of ID Technology – Fort Worth and will be based in Fort Worth, TX. This internship shall run 12 weeks. Full-time schedule Monday - Friday.
Are you intrigued about this work?
- Data consolidation – compile drawings, 3D models and .pdf files for sales support.
- Relocate and maintain drawing and model files.
- Support drawing requests from sales and machinery production.
- Work with engineering on drawing document control and revision changes.
- Will be tasked with implementing a project data management system.
- Assist with other engineering projects as needed.

Rate: $20/hour

- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or higher Industrial Engineering degree or Mechanical/ Manufacturing Engineering program
- Experience in SolidWorks required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to deal with problems involving several variables
- Skilled in recognizing and offering alternative solutions
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build partnerships and work with all levels of employees and management
- Self-motivated, task-oriented, and able to self-direct daily activity
