We’re looking for a Design Engineer to set the bar for design and craft across our product. This is a hybrid role for someone who is both a world-class product designer and a builder who can implement their own work end-to-end. You’ll shape how our product looks, feels, and works—bringing polish, consistency, and clarity that raises the standard for everything we ship.
What you’ll doOwn the product design process from exploration to production.
Translate design into production-ready code and deliver features end-to-end.
Establish our design system and visual language across product and brand.
Partner directly with engineering and product to shape roadmap and execution.
Bring a level of craft, polish, and detail that sets us apart in the market.
Contribute to building the design culture at Codegen.
Strong product design background with a focus on interaction, usability, and craft.
Ability to implement your own designs in code (React/TypeScript or similar).
Track record of shipping polished, user-facing products.
Comfort operating in ambiguity and shaping 0→1 product experiences.
Taste: a high bar for quality and the discipline to get details right.
