Description

We are looking for a creative and hands-on Design Engineer to join our fast-paced and dynamic Product Development team; focusing solely on new product development, tackling challenges in the healthcare environment.

Requirements

This is an opportunity to take products incorporating complex electromechanical assemblies from early concept through to mass production.

Your Contribution: Making a Positive Impact

  • Develop new ideas from scratch, and create proofs of concept
  • Create 3D CAD models and build working prototypes in-house for evaluation and testing
  • Produce full product specifications for manufacture, including drawings, labelling and associated documentation
  • Manage pre-launch product testing

Qualifications and training

  • Experience working with SolidWorks or equivalent CAD program

Experience and knowledge

It is essential that the postholder has:

  • Hands-on small tools and bench experience including general metal and wood work
