Job Summary:-
We are looking for an experienced Design Engineer – Cables to join our engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for designing and developing industrial cable solutions, ensuring compliance with national and international standards, supporting product development, and providing technical support for customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop Instrumentation, Control, Power, Thermocouple, RTD, High Temperature and Special Cables.
• Prepare technical datasheets, cable constructions, BOMs, drawings, cost estimations, design calculations, and perform reverse engineering of cables and components for product development, localization, and design optimization.
• Review customer specifications (like ADNOC, EIL, NTPC, BHEL, etc.) and provide technically compliant solutions.
• Ensure compliance with IS, IEC, BS, UL, ASTM and other applicable standards.
• Support type testing, product validation and certification activities.
• Provide technical support for tenders, customer approvals and project execution.
Skills Required
• Strong knowledge of cable design and manufacturing.
• Knowledge of Indian & International cable standards (IS, IEC, UL, BS, ASTM).
• Experience with AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Good analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Industry
Candidates from the Cable Industry with experience in Instrumentation, Control, Power or Special Cables will be preferred.
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of cable design and manufacturing
- Knowledge of Indian and international cable standards, including IS, IEC, UL, BS, and ASTM
- Experience with AutoCAD
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Industry experience with instrumentation, control, power, or special cables
