Key ResponsibilitiesGraphic Design & Creative Production
  • Design and produce high-quality print and digital materials that support school-wide communication, enrollment, fundraising, and engagement efforts.
  • Create brochures, flyers, event materials, advertisements, signage, presentations, social media graphics, digital publications, annual reports, donor materials, and other visual assets.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Marketing & Communications Manager to execute creative concepts, marketing campaigns, and communication initiatives.
  • Ensure consistency with Cannon's brand standards across all design projects and communication materials.
  • Prepare files for professional print production and digital distribution while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and quality.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, balancing competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Maintain and organize design files, templates, and marketing assets.
  • Support photography, videography, and visual storytelling initiatives through graphic design and production needs.
Website & Digital Content
  • Maintain and update website content to ensure accuracy, consistency, usability, and alignment with school messaging.
  • Collaborate with content owners across campus to keep key pages current and engaging.
  • Support digital marketing efforts through email communications, landing pages, digital advertisements, and social media assets.
  • Assist with website improvements that enhance user experience and accessibility.
Enrollment & Advancement Support
  • Partner with Admissions to create marketing materials that support enrollment and retention efforts.
  • Partner with Advancement to create materials that support fundraising, donor stewardship, alumni engagement, and campaign initiatives.
  • Develop compelling visual communications that effectively communicate Cannon's mission, impact, and value proposition.
  • Support community engagement efforts through thoughtful and strategic design solutions.
Event Marketing & Promotion
  • Design and produce promotional materials for school events, performances, admissions programs, fundraising initiatives, and community celebrations.
  • Coordinate timelines and production needs related to event marketing.
  • Assist with photography, videography, and visual asset collection for marketing and communication purposes.
  • Support donor, alumni, and community engagement events through creative and logistical assistance as needed.
Marketing Operations & Project Management
  • Manage the production process for marketing materials from concept through delivery.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, printers, photographers, and creative partners to ensure quality execution and timely delivery.
  • Maintain project timelines and manage multiple requests across departments.
  • Process invoices, purchase orders, and vendor-related documentation as needed.
  • Maintain organized marketing files, archives, and asset libraries.
  • Collaborate proactively with colleagues across the school to identify communication and marketing needs.
Analytics & Innovation
  • Support reporting efforts by tracking and analyzing marketing performance and campaign effectiveness.
  • Utilize data and audience insights to inform creative and communication decisions.
  • Explore emerging technologies and AI tools that enhance efficiency while aligning with Cannon's values and standards.
Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, Visual Arts, or a related field.
  • Three to five years of professional experience in graphic design, marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Experience in an educational, nonprofit, or mission-driven organization preferred.
Technical Skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Strong understanding of graphic design principles, typography, layout, visual hierarchy, and brand application.
  • Experience preparing files for professional print production and digital distribution.
  • Proficiency with website content management systems such as Finalsite, Veracross, or similar CMS platforms.
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms, project management tools, and digital asset management systems.
  • Working knowledge of digital marketing best practices, analytics tools, and social media platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and a high standard of execution.
