Job Description:
As part of the Engineering Enablement organization based in Europe, this enablement engineer develops and maintains CAD/CAE/EDA tools/methods used in Analog, RF, and Mixed-Signal product design and simulation, across all of ADI.
The candidate that fills this role will participate in optimizing the user productivity and experience through the use of AI enhanced tools and methodologies.
As an enablement engineer, you will also be expected to possess necessary programming skills and circuit design knowledge to allow you to develop, QA, support, and enhance EDA tools/methods used by IC product development teams.
Requirements:
- Masters or Bachelors in Electrical/Electronics Engineers with 5+ years of experience
- Experienced in design or layout of Analog and mixed signal circuits
- Experienced in circuit simulation with Cadence ADE/Spectre, ideally with experience of RF simulations and debugging simulation issues
- Proficient at programming, like Cadence SKILL/Perl/Python/Shell etc.
- Good to have PDK or physical verification rules development experience.
- Experience in the use of AI large language models and Agentic AI is desirable
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are critical for working, influencing and collaborating with product development groups in India and worldwide.
- Proficiency in English language

The pay range for this position in Ireland, Limerick is €77,700 to €127,650.
