Protect Customer Funds. Strengthen operational controls. Become a trusted resource in deposit services.

ACNB Bank is seeking a Deposit Services Specialist who can turn careful analysis, sound judgment, and disciplined execution into reliable outcomes for customers and the Bank. In this role, you will manage complex deposit-account activity, resolve exceptions, support colleagues, and help maintain a strong control environment. This is an opportunity for an experienced banking operations professional to expand their impact while developing deeper expertise in deposit services, risk management, and operational leadership.

What You Will Accomplish

  • Master the workflow: Within your first 90 days, learn the Bank’s deposit products, systems, procedures, authorization standards, and regulatory controls well enough to complete routine account maintenance and transactions accurately and independently.
  • Deliver accurate, timely processing: Consistently execute account ownership changes, overdraft protection, automatic transfers, sweep-account maintenance, adjustments, refunds, correction entries, and related requests with complete documentation and proper authorization.
  • Resolve exceptions with sound judgment: Research and close discrepancies, operational issues, out-of-balance conditions, and nonroutine customer-account matters promptly while balancing service, risk, and regulatory requirements.
  • Protect customers and the Bank: Recognize, investigate, document, and escalate potential fraud, suspicious activity, unauthorized transactions, and other high-risk situations in accordance with established controls.
  • Keep records audit-ready: Maintain accurate, complete records and respond effectively to audit, examination, compliance-review, research, and testing requests.
  • Raise team capability: Become a dependable escalation resource who can explain complex transactions, reinforce procedures, provide technical support, and help colleagues execute controls consistently.
  • Improve operational effectiveness: Contribute to system administration, reporting, testing, workflow coordination, procedure enhancements, department initiatives, and special projects that improve service delivery.

What You Bring to the Table
  • Two or more years of related experience, including at least one year as a Deposit Services Representative or in a similar role.
  • Working knowledge of deposit operations; knowledge of banking regulations is preferred.
  • A record of accurate work, as well as strong analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, decision-making, communication, and organizational skills.
  • The ability to work independently within established procedures and controls while collaborating effectively across teams.
  • Comfort using standard office technology and learning deposit-related systems and applications.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.

Why This Opportunity

This role offers more than a list of tasks. You will build expertise across the deposit-operations lifecycle, gain exposure to risk and compliance, help solve consequential account issues, and influence how the team works.

Ready to bring your strengths to our team? If you are motivated by measurable results, careful problem-solving, and becoming the person others trust with complex work, we encourage you to apply.
