Your role
In this role, you will lead the quality management team, driving company-wide quality initiatives and compliance with standards (e.g., DIN 9001, IATF 16949, ASPICE, TISAX). Responsibilities include implementing an Integrated Management System (IMS), setting and tracking quality goals, overseeing audits, and ensuring continuous improvement. You’ll also manage field quality, address product issues, and provide training on quality standards while supporting future certifications and reporting on quality performance.
Your future tasks and responsibilities
- Lead and develop the quality management team, overseeing company-wide quality management.
- Establish an Integrated Management System (IMS) to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Implement a structured problem management process for effective solutions and continuous improvement.
- Set and track quality goals, ensuring their achievement.
- Ensure quality standards across the value stream by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Drive continuous process improvement.
- Manage field quality and analyze field failures, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.g., IS9001, IATF 16949, ASPICE, TISAX).
- Plan, conduct, and follow up on internal and external audits.
- Advise on future certifications.
- Create and analyze quality performance reports.
- Train and educate employees on quality management systems and standards.
What you bring with you
- Successfully completed degree in engineering or related fields
- Extensive relevant professional and management experience in quality organizations
- Several years of operational experience in the automotive industry
- Enthusiasm for making decisions and strong implementation skills
- Hands-on mentality and a desire to shape and create
- Excellent written and spoken English and German skills (min. C1)
- Series production experience
- Experience in project management, change management, and quality methodologies
- Expertise in IMS, PQM and PMP
- Proficiency in problem solving techniques
- LEAN experience (e.g., 6-Sigma)
