Starting Salary: $24 Per Hour

Position Overview: The Production Lead is responsible for working with the Production Manager in operating equipment to produce finished products, perform quality control on produced finished product, and frontline oversight of the production personnel. This role involves ensuring our processes are properly adhering to dictated production specifications and SOPs, inputting data into production logs, training other production staff, troubleshooting and communicating issues with equipment to the Production Manager, rigid quality control, and performing recipe ingredient submittals on a per batch basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement Production quality control standards: Implement standards, logs, and procedures in tandem with the Operations team to ensure adherence to product specifications and quality requirements set internally.
  • Scheduling: Adhering to the production schedule set by the Operations team and able to be vocal of any issues that may prevent the daily or weekly goals from being met.
  • Train staff: Provide training to ensure staff are aware of product specifications and can troubleshoot issues.
  • Manufacturing Software Utilization: Working with the Compliance Manager to be the final step in Acumatica implementation and documentation of associated materials usage on a per batch basis. This includes keeping up to date with QC sheets and associated batch runs.
  • Troubleshooting: Working and mastering the equipment utilized for Production and establishing troubleshooting procedures for common issues experienced in tandem with the Operations Team.
  • Organization: Working with the Facility and Supply Chain Coordinator to organize materials efficiently in line with established receiving and storage systems.
  • Collaboration: Always working with the Operations department on new solutions, increased efficiencies, and striving for best practices.
  • Recording accurate data for batch runs and logging weights of products as they go through the workflow.
  • Front line accountability to ensure KPIs and metrics are being met to hit daily goals and achievements are met.
