We are looking for a Demo Engineer to join BillingPlatform’s Solutions Engineering team on a full-time basis. In this role, you’ll be responsible for building customized demo assets that empower our Solutions Engineers to showcase BillingPlatform in a way that resonates with potential customers. You will develop and create applications for our sales team in our demo environments. This role is engineering-heavy, focusing on coding, SQL, and APIs, but does not involve direct demo delivery to customers. The ideal candidate has experience in full-stack development, a passion for creativity, and enjoys working on tools that directly impact sales and customer success.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain demo assets that can be customized for different customer experiences
- Create and maintain internal tools for the Sales and Solutions Consultant teams to improve the demo process
- Translate designs into good-quality code
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Solutions Engineering, Engineering, and Product Marketing
- Very strong knowledge of React
- Proficient in HTML/HTML5 and CSS
- Experience with JavaScript DOM API
- Intermediate and above Knowledge of SQL
- Experience working with Web Services and REST API’s
- Working Knowledge of development and extension frameworks
- Ability to be resourceful in solving complex problems
- Creativity and Enthusiasm for innovation and UX is a must
- Strong communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

The salary range for this position is $90 000- $110 000 per year, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. Additionally, there is potential for bonus compensation, providing further opportunity for financial growth based on individual and company performance. Salary information is provided per state regulations in CA, CO, CT, MD, NV, NY, RI, and WA.
