Job Title: Associate Attorney
Salary: $100K - $130K
Type of Position: Full Time
Location: Remote

Job Description:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Manage a significant case load
  • Draft and file pleadings, and other miscellaneous notices, documents, etc. with the court
  • Track cases with upcoming statutes of limitations
  • Track service of process
  • Review court documents
  • Attend court hearings as needed
  • Review all possible information, evidence and documentation, including medical records and bills, loss of earnings documentation and change in lifestyle information, that will help the legal department build a case
  • Sort and read through medical records, insurance correspondence, and settlement releases on behalf of clients
  • Collaborate with multiple departments including Case Management, Demands, and Liens
  • Maintain communication with clients to guide them through the filing of their lawsuit and the settlement process
Requirements:
  • Candidate has a JD and is admitted to the California bar
  • 1-2 years of experience in Personal Injury preferred
  • Very well organized
  • Good follow-up
  • Strong communication skills
  • Spanish speaking, a plus
