Key Responsibilities
Demand Forecasting & Analytics
- Lead the monthly S&OP demand planning process by consolidating and aligning inputs from Sales and Product Line into an 18‑month rolling demand plan.
- Coordinate and ensure compliance with the S&OP calendar, meeting agreed timelines and maintaining PIPO accurately through each cycle.
- Review and validate the statistical baseline forecast generated by SAP IBP by assessing outliers and adjusting the baseline based on latest sell‑in, sell‑out, and channel inventory visibility to arrive at an agreed unconstrained demand plan.
- Assess and mitigate demand risks driven by supply constraints, market dynamics, seasonality, and promotional events to ensure forecast robustness
- Monitor forecast performance, proactively managing forecast accuracy and bias, and driving improvement actions to reduce excess stock and write‑offs.
S&OP Leadership & Governance
- Lead and facilitate the monthly country S&OP cycle, including preparation, alignment, and executive review.
- Drive S&OP maturity improvements in line with BA S&OP maturity assessment guidelines, ensuring disciplined processes and decision‑making.
- Provide clear visibility on demand risks, assumptions, and scenarios to support supply and financial planning.
Inventory, SLOB & Lifecycle Management
- Identify and proactively highlight Excess and SLOB risks, partnering with commercial teams to define and execute depletion plans fully embedded in the demand plan.
- Lead end‑to‑end phase‑in / phase‑out planning to minimize SLOB while improving time‑to‑market for new product launches.
- Maintain and review ABC and safety stock levels based on statistical modeling, in alignment with country, CA Sales Operations and supply planning stakeholders.
Cross‑Functional & Supply Collaboration
- Act as a key interface with Supply Planning to ensure continuity and efficiency of supply.
- Drive regular weekly and bi‑weekly business alignment routines with cross‑functional teams and supply planning team.
- Possess a foundational understanding of financial P&L to assess the demand plan’s impact on overall Net Sales (NS) and business performance.
Skills Required
- Experience leading S&OP and demand planning processes
- Proficiency with SAP IBP forecasting and baseline validation
