About the Role
Americanflat is seeking a highly analytical and commercially driven Demand Planning Manager to support global demand planning and inventory strategy across domestic and international sales channels.
This role connects Sales performance with Global Supply execution — translating real-time sell-through trends, promotions, and account growth into smart inventory decisions. You will ensure the business reacts quickly to demand changes, protecting revenue through strong in-stock performance while maintaining healthy inventory levels.
This is a high-visibility role in a fast-scaling, multi-channel environment spanning Amazon international, marketplaces, and direct import programs.
Demand & Forecast Ownership
- Own the rolling demand forecast across all channels and regions
- Monitor weekly sales trends and identify early shifts in demand
- Partner closely with Sales to identify emerging trends and translate insights into proactive inventory actions that maintain healthy in-stock metrics
- Adjust forecasts based on promotions, velocity changes, and expansion plans
Inventory & Replenishment Strategy
- Determine reorder timing and quantities based on sales trends and lead times
- Draft and validate purchase orders for leadership approval
- Balance stockout risk with excess inventory exposure
- Support Direct Import (DI) and Domestic to align supply with demand
- Monitor weeks of cover, service levels, and inventory turns
Systems & Process Development
- Build and refine forecasting models and planning tools
- Maintain clear and reliable demand and inventory dashboards
- Improve planning workflows to support scale and international growth
- Ensure data integrity across forecasting and reporting systems
- Lead continuous improvement of demand planning processes

Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in demand planning, inventory management, or a related field provides practical knowledge and understanding of the processes involved in demand planning.
- 2+ years of leadership experience to mentor and manage a team, fostering a productive and positive work environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and software is crucial for efficient operations.
- Strong analytical skills include the ability to interpret and make decisions based on complex data to optimize inventory management.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills enable the clear conveyance of information and insights to team members and upper management.
- High attention to detail and accuracy ensures that data and reports are precise to avoid costly mistakes.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously requires strong organizational skills to handle various responsibilities effectively.
- Strategic thinking allows the candidate to contribute to high-level planning and decision-making, aligning demand planning strategies with overall business goals.
- Must have and own a pair of noise-cancelling headsets
