THE POSITION

As a Demand Planning Manager here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing SIOP & demand planning strategies to ensure precise forecasting and optimal demand management. Leading a dynamic team, your role involves fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment, guiding the team in all aspects of SIOP & demand planning activities. Collaborating seamlessly with cross-functional teams, you will leverage data, market trends, and customer insights to enhance demand forecasting accuracy. Your analytical expertise will play a pivotal role in monitoring and adjusting demand patterns, ensuring agile responses to customer demands and the optimization of inventory levels. Identifying and implementing process improvements is a key aspect of the role, aimed at enhancing overall efficiency and effectiveness. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless alignment between demand plans, supply chain operations, and financial forecasts. Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 


  • Lead the SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) process, ensuring alignment between demand, supply, and financial objectives. Drive cross-functional collaboration to facilitate effective SIOP meetings, develop actionable plans, and monitor progress against targets. Champion continuous improvement within the SIOP process to optimize inventory, enhance customer satisfaction, and support business growth.
  • Execute a clear vision for the demand planning function and inspire the team to achieve and exceed forecast accuracy goals
  • Manage a team of demand planners, providing leadership, guidance, and support in all aspects of demand planning activities
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather and analyze data, market trends, and customer insights, actively contributing to the improvement of demand forecasting accuracy
  • Manage the demand risks identification to build contingency plans, collaborate in Demand Planning projects and lead the SIOP planning including continuous process improvements
  • Create, maintain, and analyze sales forecast and production plans at the account level globally for products and equipment
  • Conduct formal forecast reviews with Global Sales and Business to analyze, measure, and improve forecast accuracy
  • Design and implement necessary supply chain optimization projects
  • Work with leadership for the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Strategic Planning Process (STRAP) processes
  • Process data, identify problematic areas, and consolidate the opportunities into a single forecast for Supply Chain action
  • Track KPIs and publish performance to multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • Present Demand forecast to Leadership at monthly meetings
  • Lead the SIOP process team and supply planners to facilitate maximum customer satisfaction, stakeholder satisfaction, and financial performance
  • Lead, manage, and mentor a team of demand planners, setting clear objectives and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement

Qualifications

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be U.S. Person, which is defined as a, U.S. Citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status, or have the ability to obtain export authorization.. 


YOU MUST HAVE

  • 6+ years of planning, materials, sourcing, or other related supply chain experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership of the SIOP process, including cross-functional alignment, structured review cadence, and delivery of performance outcomes.
  • Experience managing complex data analysis.
  • Strong process orientation and experience in planning.
  • Advanced MS Office skills with proficiency in Excel.

  • Certification in supply chain management (APICS, CPIM, CPSM, or CPF).
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to efficiently multi-task, prioritize, and delegate.
  • Ability to collaborate with both internal and external customers.
