In this role, you are responsible for developing effective forecasting based on industry trends and demand patterns, you will also have to keep track of item availability by generating daily reports on out of stock items. 

 Job description:

Develop effective forecasting based on industry trends and demand patterns
Submit all purchase orders based on preset order schedule
Ensure all submitted purchase orders were received in respect to the quantity and items previously shared
Keep track of item availability by generating daily reports on out of stock items
Follow-up on all stock discrepancies reported by the warehouse team
Monitor and report important changes in sales, budgets, and item changes to the Category management team
Propose and implement solutions, to improve demand forecast accuracy

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or other relevant fields.
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a demand planning/forecasting role.
Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures.
Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge.
Capability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
