Job Title

Demand PlannerAs the Demand Planner, you will be responsible for consulting and coordinating demand planning forecasts through near-term customer order patterns, mid-term analysis focused on trends, Business Unit (BU) collaboration, and facilitating a monthly consensus discussion to ensure alignment and accuracy. You will partner with BU leaders, to help collaborate on sales volume planning efforts for the ongoing periodic cycles and Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and contribute to forecasting excellence. You will help to drive the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SiOP) process.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Enable continuous improvement in demand planning accuracy at actionable operations levels.
  • Demand Planning drives the item forecast mix accuracy based on inputs from BU leadership, Account Teams, Product Managers, and Operations.
  • Partner with global internal stakeholders within Commercial, Account Management, Product Management, Operations, and Finance to better understand the volume impacts of Customer Ordering patterns, Pricing, New Product Introductions, and Production nuances.
  • Build long-term capability that enables corporate strategy development and new product forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with planning process and forecast alignment in the short- and mid-term forecast horizons.
  • Coordinate and facilitate with Operations COE and IT to strengthen SAP IBP as a strategic planning tool.
  • Monitor and communicate planning & forecasting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to Business Units and Supply Chain management.
  • Maintain positive relationships by building trust and collaboration in the matrixed Business Unit environment.

Job Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, finance, computer science, or engineering
  • 3+ years' experience in demand management, planning, scheduling or other supply chain focus is required.

Functional/Technical Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Knowledge of forecasting processes and sales / demand analysis methodology is required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of forecasting technology or ERP systems is required (SAP IBP strongly preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results in a planning and execution environment and to develop productive working relationships at all levels of the organization is required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; able to lead by influence.
  • Strong analytical capabilities.
  • Knowledge of best practices in forecasting at full product life cycle.
  • Forecasting tool expertise, Teaching, facilitating, and governing forecast inputs and process.
  • Strong visual and verbal communicator of complex forecast data.
  • High proficiency using PC based applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access) is required.

Location: Golden, CO (hybrid)

Target Hiring Range

Annual Salary: USD 90,196.00 - USD 119,059.00
