Job Description:
As a Demand Planner, you will drive a BU / Market based forecast, to a targeted level of forecast accuracy, enabling accuracy of outlooking, whilst owning inventory against a targeted budget plan and performing to hit all planning KPIs. Closely working with Sales and Product Management to drive a high level of customer service.
What you’ll do:
As a Demand Planner you are responsible for:

Building, managing and maintaining excellent relations with both internal and external stakeholders and customers while driving collaboration and maintaining high business performance. Demand Planning is the integration point into the sales and commercial organization

Providing sales and country-based SKU level forecast to drive the business planning to ensure delivery of sales plans, customer services, cost and inventory, utilizing all available intelligence from the marketplace to analyze and recommend actions where forecast and inventories are out of balance

Participating fully in the EMEA S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) process owning the forecasted demand for your responsible markets while identifying opportunities to improve KPIs

Work collaboratively with key stakeholders to define NPI launches and adjust forecasts to align to the agreed plans

By working closely with the Sales leads, manage the demand signals of NPI launches and transitions to ensure the demand and cannibalization risks are being proactively communicated to key stakeholders for collaborative resolution

Analyze market trends and commercial impacts to recommend demand plans to the Sales Leads

Work closely with the Supply Planning Team to understand the current inventory position, rebalance inventory expectations with Sales Leads, and prioritise time critical inventory (promotions, catalogues, etc)

Ensure EOL plans are forecasted correctly, and remaining inventory is consumed where applicable to provide the business with the correct E&O visibility based on these demand signals

Must be flexible and able to adapt quickly into a fast-paced environment

Ability to prioritise tasks in order to meet business critical deadlines is essential
What you’ll need:

Solid organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills including strong verbal and written communication skills

Experience in Demand & Supply Planning tools
-
Effective problem solving and analytical skills
-
Mastery in communication to a wide range of stakeholders at varying levels
-
Business level proficiency in English required; additional language is advantageous

Experience with an ERP system preferably Oracle
-
Strong experience in Microsoft office preferably Excel, PowerPoint
-
Possess excellent people and relationship management skills

Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Minimum one years’ experience working in a similar position across an international portfolio

Sound judgement, flexibility, and strong professional ethics

Proven ability to meet multiple deadlines
