About the Role
The Demand Planning team drives accuracy and efficiency in forecasting realistic, unconstrained demand over a 24‑month horizon. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to produce a reliable monthly consensus forecast and report directly to the Demand Planning Team Lead.
What You Will Do
Ownership and coordination for all Demand Planning (Forecasting) activities for the assigned OEMs.
Accountable for delivering a monthly rolling 24-month consensus forecast, working together with a cross-functional team of Customer Business Unit, Program Managers, and other key members.
Support monthly financial closing and ensure on-time delivery of data including account review and variance analysis.
Coordination of 5Y/10YP (five years/ten years plan) activities together with the Sales excellence team, minimum quarterly or as required by the business.
Ensure 100% adherence to the Global Consensus Demand Planning Process using Integrated Business Planning (IBP) tool.
Maintain and use key input data elements like system program architecture, OEM vehicle production, take rates, customer forecasts, statistical forecasts, etc. in preparation of the forecasts.
Drive forecast excellence with high forecast accuracy levels.
Support in preparation for Senior Leadership meetings when needed.
Prepare KPI-s, reports as well as ad-hoc analysis to drive progress.
Participate in problem-solving and corrective actions.
Support all process improvement activities.
Support special projects as required by the business.
Any other tasks as required by the business.
What You Need to Be Successful
Associates degree or equivalent in a related field.
At least 3+ years in Sales & Operations Planning.
Knowledge of/experience in ERP systems (SAP, IBP, BW (Business Warehouse) preferred).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage big data sets.
Flexible independent worker with an ability to lead and solve problems.
Strong preference for a background in global automotive environment.
Fluent English.
Bonus Points if You Have
SAP, IBP and BW knowledge.
Experience with Qlik Sense analytics or similar Business Intelligence tool.
Supply chain relevant knowledge, experience.
Collaboration in various geographies.
Industry related knowledge or strong interest.
