We are currently searching for a Demand Planner to lead KREWE’s enterprise demand and inventory planning strategy across Retail, E-commerce, and Wholesale, driving forecast accuracy, inventory productivity, and cross-functional alignment to optimize business performance and support scalable growth.


This role is based in our New Orleans Headquarters 5 days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner on OTB across all channels, managing WOS, inventory turn, ATS, receipt flow, and inventory investment against sales and financial targets.
  • Translate demand signals and in-season performance across Retail, E-commerce, and Wholesale into actionable inventory plans, allocation, replenishment, and receipt recommendations.
  • Create and manage top-down and bottom-up finished goods forecasts, ensuring alignment between financial plans, demand expectations, and inventory needs.
  • Own forecast accuracy, regularly analyzing variance to plan, identifying the drivers of forecast error, and continuously improving forecasting assumptions and methodology.
  • Partner on monthly SKU-level demand forecasts, incorporating selling trends, product lifecycle, channel needs, inventory position, and future business initiatives.
  • Play an active role in the monthly S&OP and hindsight processes, providing the inventory and demand analysis needed to align Planning, Manufacturing, Operations, and Finance around risks, opportunities, and actions.
  • Lead forecasting and analysis for new product introductions, developing initial demand assumptions and continuously adjusting forecasts as selling data becomes available.
  • Drive inventory efficiency by establishing inventory targets, balancing demand and supply, managing product carryover decisions, and identifying opportunities to improve inventory flow and lead times.
  • Proactively identify inventory risks and opportunities, partnering with Operations, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing to close inventory gaps, mitigate overstock, and protect sales.
  • Facilitate long-range demand and inventory forecasting to provide Manufacturing and Supply Chain with greater visibility into future capacity and inventory requirements.
  • Consolidate and analyze Retail, E-commerce, Wholesale, and operational data to create a holistic view of demand and inventory performance across KREWE.
  • Build, maintain, and publish reporting that clearly communicates business performance, inventory health, forecast accuracy, risks, and opportunities.
  • Turn analysis into action, using selling results and inventory performance to influence future buys, receipt timing, inventory positioning, and demand forecasts.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and scenario planning to support business decisions and changing needs as KREWE continues to grow.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in merchandise planning, demand forecasting, inventory planning, supply chain, analytics, or a related field within fashion, eyewear, accessories, or specialty retail.
  • Strong command of retail math and planning fundamentals, including forecasting, OTB, WOS, inventory turn, sell-through, receipt flow, and inventory productivity.
  • Advanced Excel skills required; hands-on experience with NetSuite and Shopify strongly preferred.
  • Comfortable building processes from scratch and operating in an environment where the tools, reporting, and ways of working are continuing to evolve.
  • Able to move easily between the big picture and the details, connecting the financial plan and broader business strategy all the way down to SKU-level performance and inventory decisions.
  • Highly analytical with a critical eye for data and the ability to identify what matters, understand the story behind the numbers, and translate analysis into clear recommendations and actions.
  • Strong business partner who can effectively engage, influence, and build credibility with partners and leaders at all levels of the organization.
  • Confident in creating and delivering clear, impactful presentations and communicating complex information to cross-functional audiences.
  • Highly organized and effective at managing multiple competing priorities, with the judgment to continually prioritize based on the needs of the business.
  • Proactive, assertive, and highly self-directed, with a strong sense of ownership and consistent follow-through with leaders, colleagues, and cross-functional partners.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and appropriately across different audiences.
