Summary: Join our team as a Business Intelligence Support Specialist, where you will empower users to harness the capabilities of business intelligence tools for data querying and reporting. Your role will involve assisting customers with OLAP tools, extracting data, and ensuring seamless system functionality and security.
Responsibilities:
- Support users in utilizing business intelligence tools for database queries and report generation.
- Assist customers in using OLAP tools to extract and compile data for queries and reports.
- Review and optimize queries to address performance issues.
- Participate in the design, development, and documentation of systems.
- Monitor and upgrade enterprise-wide OLAP query and reporting tools.
- Ensure interoperability and security of front-end components.
- Maintain metadata coordination and support production systems.
Required Skills:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 0 to 1 year of IT work experience in business intelligence tools and systems.
- Familiarity with process and data modeling and data architectural development methodologies.
- Ability to function independently under the guidance of senior professionals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
