Health Economics & Outcomes Research
ZS's HEOR group partners with clients to design and deliver solutions to help them tackle a broad range of business challenges. Our teams work on multiple projects simultaneously, leveraging advanced data analytics and problem-solving techniques. Our recommendations and solutions are based on rigorous research and analysis underpinned by deep expertise and thought leadership.
What You'll Do
- Understand proposal and protocol to follow client's focus and research question
- Act as Project Lead and conceptually lead SLR projects, with minimal supervision from senior staff
- Conduct meta-analysis (ITC/ NMA/ correlational analysis etc.) using R/ STATA/ WinBUGS/ OpenBUGS, interpret forest plots along with other outputs, and write SLR and/or meta-analysis reportParticipate in kick-off meetings and support preparation of protocol, whenever required
- Devise and run search strategies (OVID, PubMed, MEDLINE, Embase, EconLit, Cochrane library etc.) as part of project execution/ request from seniors
- Implement project management plan on assigned projects as directed by senior staff
- Maintain day-to-day communications related to liaising with internal and external project team members, track timelines & budget, and flag concerns in a timely manner
- Provide recommendations at any step of project (to stakeholders/ client and internal team)
- Responsible for solving conceptual queries from aligned resources
- Review work done by team members and provide appropriate feedback
- Contribute to process enhancement initiatives, including revisions to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ideas to gain process efficiencies
- Build working relationships and actively collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to optimize feedback and input towards high quality documents
- Perform all the steps of systematic literature review as routine tasks when allocated as resource on projects
- Write SLR report/ summary report in MS Word/ PowerPoint with proficiency in using reference manager tools (e.g. EndNote)
- Ability to multi-task and work under tight timelines
- Guide and mentor Associates on teams.
- Fluency in English with Client-first mentality
- Intense work ethic which requires c ollaborative spirit and problem-solving approach
What You'll Bring
- Master's Degree in life sciences related discipline or related field (M Pharm, MD, MPH) with strong record of academic success in quantitative and analytic coursework such as systematic or targeted literature reviews, meta-analysis, indirect treatment comparisons, data science or statistics.
- 4-6 years of relevant post-collegiate HEOR job experience (2-4 years after PhD).
- High motivation, good work ethic, maturity and personal initiative.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Empathy, adaptability and emotional intelligence.
- Close attention to detail, with a quality-focused mindset.
- Self-discipline for planning and organizing tasks.
- Aptitude for, and enjoyment of, working in teams.
