Position Summary
Technicut Tool (TCT) is seeking a Deburring Specialist for our Windsor, Ontario location. If you are looking for an organization and career that will match your strong work ethic and passion for success, Technicut Tool is a great place to start!
*This position works Monday thru Friday from 7:00am - 3:30pm. The pay range for this position is between $18.00 - $24.00 per hour depending on experience*
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Follow established safety procedures and work instructions.
- Ensure proper surface masking and preparations.
- Ensures all parts are clean and free of burrs and imperfections.
- Use of a wide variety of finishing tools, including electric and pneumatic (right angle grinder, die grinder, orbital sanders) as well as tumbling machines.
- Perform sandblasting and shot peening operations in accordance with specifications and safety guidelines.
- Ensures deburring equipment is operating at optimal performance with proper care of all tools and equipment.
- Positions and assembles parts according to specified instructions, routings, and blueprints.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Inspect parts for defects.
- Monitor process control to ensure process is within predetermined parameters.
- Rack and un-rack parts by hand. Prepare products for shipping.
- Maintains a clean and organized work area.
Experience, Qualifications, and Skills
- High School/GED or equivalent education.
- 2-3+ years of experience in a production environment preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to handle delicate parts without causing damage.
- Position available to Canadian Citizens or Canadian Permanent Residents ONLY.
