Job Description
Perform debt management and trade finance operations in line with treasury policies.
Assist in financing transactions and management reporting.
Support IAG Treasury in terms of debt position and related processes.
Accountabilities:
- Daily debt position management, control and policy compliance,
- Perform analysis and reports on debt exposure, funding costs, leases, interest rate profile (i.e. fixed vs. floating), margins, aircraft financing arrangements
- Administration of debt facilities including operating leases and secured bank facilities,
- Support financing transactions cycle,
- Supporting Finance Plan and Business Plan for Operating companies
- Assist in creation of aircraft forecast with IAG Treasury support
- Support the administration of finance leases, operating leases, bonds, cash credit lines, loans
- Being a partner in discussion with all audit related queries with internal and external auditors
- Posting and reconciling GL entries related to Debt Management
- Active participation in Financial Plan and Business Plan creation and review
Qualifications
- BS/MS degree in Finance, Economics or related field
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Operates with a high degree of independence and autonomy: demonstrated by strong planning, organisational, time management, negotiating, and decision-making skills
- Orientation to details, ability to work under pressure and evaluate priorities
- Working proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a multinational company
- Experience in accounting ERP (Oracle, SAP) and financial reporting (Hyperion) systems would be an asset
