About the role:
Deal Management is a dedicated North American based sales finance function that provides deal pricing expertise, financial insights, and deal support for new and renewal business for our Banking Solutions Organization. Our goal is to ensure deals create mutually economic benefit for FIS and our Clients. We support strategic deals and provide feedback to Sales, Finance, and Product leaders. Deal Managers frequently work with cross-functional business partners across Legal, Sales, Finance, and Operations, and in constant collaboration with Product Pricing Specialists that support the wide range of the banking and payment solutions that we offer.
About the team:
The deal management team provides a pivotal role in delivering proposals for prospects and existing client to sales teams while mitigating risks to FIS. The objective is to further develop our deal governance processes to secure mutually beneficial agreements with our clients. You would have the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse group of Sales and Pricing Specialist.
What you will be doing:
You will be managing new and renewing business proposals by implementing our pricing and margin guidance. This role involves offering recommendations to business partners and developing new pricing packages that are designed to elevate a deal’s attractiveness to FIS. The role also includes maintaining up-to-date pricing benchmarks and contributing to the divisions pricing strategy and go to market efforts. This will enhance our pricing methodology and ensure alignment with our guardrails and the company’s long-range plan. Additionally, this role provides an opportunity to expand into business development and commercial negotiations.
What you will need:

Minimum of 7+ years of experience in finance or deal pricing, or experience within the software as a service industry, banking, or payments technology.

Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or equivalent experience

Proven ability to build collaborative working relationships and remain flexible and adaptable in the face of changing circumstances

Expertise negotiating and constructively handling disagreement

Have the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.

Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite

Mentor and train other team members

Additionally, excellent financial modeling and communication skills are essential.
