Position: Day Behavior Services Coordinator

Compensation: $70,000 - $76,000 annually

Status: Full-Time

Category: Exempt

Reports to: Associate Executive Director

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee the delivery of behavior support services.
  • Trains all Behavior Support Staff on initial and/or updated BSP's and maintains fidelity of training records.
  • Ensure all behavior supports are person-centered, least restrictive, and aligned with each individual’s authorized Individualized Service Plan (ISP).
  • Attend weekly Behavior Team Meetings and feedback sessions with staff.
  • Reviews all behavior incident reports daily in Safety Zone and Identify trends in incidents and recommend programmatic improvements.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and audit-ready documentation (BSPs, behavioral documentation, reports, training records).
  • Collaborate with program leadership, nursing staff, support coordinators, families, and guardians.
  • Serve as a clinical resource to families and external stakeholders

What You Need:

  • Bachelors degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Social Work, Special Education, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in behavior modification and implementation of positive behavior support techniques.Minimum of 1 years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Knowledge of NJ DDD regulations.
  • Experience in writing reports is required
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or management experience.
  • Valid New Jersey driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
