Are you ready to make an impact in the finance industry? As a Datawarehouse Engineer, you will transform raw, unstructured data from various sources into a clean, organized, and easily accessible format that can be used to generate valuable business insights
A day in the life of a Datawarehouse Engineer will include:
- Building and maintaining Datawarehouse ETL/ELT processes;
- Exporting / importing data from / to all Quant systems to help day to day operations and increase operational efficiency;
- Optimize data warehouse performance by tuning queries and data structures to ensure that data retrieval is fast and efficient for data analysts and Quant intelligence tools;
- Implement processes to monitor and validate data quality, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness;
- Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of Structured Query Language (SQL). Including writing complex queries, optimizing them for performance, and managing relational databases Results oriented;
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues in data pipelines, identify data discrepancies, and develop effective solutions;
- Knowledge of cloud-based databases like SQL Azure, Power BI platform will be considered as a plus;
- Degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or equivalent. MSc will be considered as a plus;
- Experience in the Banking industry for at least 2 years preferably in the NPL sector will be considered as a plus;
- Adaptable and willing to learn new technologies and trends;
- English fluency and strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
