Job Description

As a Databricks Solution Lead, you will be responsible for driving the strategy, architecture, and delivery of enterprise-wide Data, Analytics solutions leveraging the Databricks Lakehouse Platform. Acting as a trusted advisor to clients, you will work closely with business stakeholders, technology leaders, and delivery teams to define transformation roadmaps, develop scalable data solutions, and ensure successful business outcomes. The role requires a blend of consulting expertise, solution architecture leadership, stakeholder engagement, and hands-on knowledge of modern data platforms and cloud technologies.

The Databricks Solution Lead is responsible for leading client-facing Data, Analytics, partnering with business and technology stakeholders to define strategic roadmaps and deliver scalable solutions on the Databricks Lakehouse Platform. Acting as a trusted advisor, the role drives discovery workshops, architecture assessments, and solution design engagements, translating business requirements into innovative and commercially viable data solutions. The Solution Lead provides technical and consulting leadership across multidisciplinary teams, ensuring best practices in data architecture, governance, security, cloud adoption, and operational excellence. Additionally, the role supports business development activities, including solution shaping, pre-sales, proposal development, and executive presentations, while ensuring successful delivery of enterprise data modernization that achieve measurable business outcomes for clients.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in Data & Analytics, Data Engineering, Data Architecture.
  • Experience designing and delivering solutions on the Databricks Lakehouse Platform.
  • Strong consulting experience within a Systems Integrator, Consulting Firm, or Professional Services environment.
  • Deep expertise in Databricks, Apache Spark, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, SQL, and Python.
  • Experience delivering enterprise data modernization and cloud migration programs.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform, with Azure preferred.
  • Strong understanding of modern data architectures including Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Lakehouse, Data Mesh, and Real-Time Analytics.
  • Experience with Data Governance, Metadata Management, Security, and Regulatory Compliance frameworks.
  • Proven ability to engage and influence senior business and technology stakeholders.
  • Experience leading solution workshops, architecture design sessions, and executive-level presentations.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience supporting bids, proposals, and pre-sales activities.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and consulting skills.
  • Databricks certifications and cloud certifications are highly desirable.
