2. Operating System and Network knowledge
a) Operating system
i. Experience with operations and management of mainstream operating system such as Linux.
ii. Understanding the interaction between the operating system and database.
b) Network
i. Knowledge of network basics such as TCP/IP protocol.
ii. Experience with setting network parameters for database server
3. Scripts language
a) Be proficient in one or more scripting language such as Python and Shell
4. Problem Solving and Communication
a) Problem Solving
i. Ability to view database logs, system logs, and performance indicators to locate faults and take effective measures when a database fault occurs.
ii. Ability to find solutions by reading technical documents and consulting R&D experts related to database services.
iii. Ability to summarize past incidents to avoid the recurrence of similar problems.

i. Strong inter-department communication and cooperation skills.
