Job DescriptionSupport the design, administration, optimization and continuous improvement of database environments and related business processes. The role focuses on ensuring data integrity, availability and performance while collaborating with development and operational teams supporting business-critical applications.
Main Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and maintain database solutions supporting business applications.
- Monitor and support critical business processes.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, functions and database triggers.
- Implement and maintain backup solutions in line with defined strategies.
- Investigate and resolve database-related incidents affecting performance or availability.
- Participate in post-incident reviews for major or recurring database issues.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve business process outcomes.
- Monitor database performance and identify optimization opportunities.
- Support automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide technical guidance and operational support to internal teams.
What You'll Bring:
- Experience with Microsoft BI technologies including SSIS, SSRS and SSAS.
- Experience with ETL development, optimization and monitoring.
- Strong SQL development and database optimization skills.
- Experience with SQL performance tuning, partitioning and indexing.
- Root cause analysis and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Experience with Power BI.
- Experience with Master Data Services.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, ELK or Zabbix.
- Knowledge of ITIL practices.
- Strong communication, collaboration, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Portuguese proficiency at professional mastery level.
- English proficiency at professional expert level.
