At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Database Administrator to join our UniQue team in Luxemborug.
What will you be doing in this role?
- Administer and maintain Oracle and PostgreSQL database components
- Lead and support Oracle database migration activities
- Manage backup and restoration processes to ensure data integrity and availability
- Monitor system health, investigate incidents, and address performance issues proactively
- Occaasionally participate in on-call rotations when required to ensure operational continuity
What will you be bringing to the team?
- Hold at least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Studies or Engineering
- A minimum 7+ years of proven professional experience as Data Base Administrator
- No less than 5+ years of experience with SQL, Oracle, and PL/SQL
- At least 5+ years experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL DBA on Linux
- Advanced experience of a minimum 7+ years in Oracle migrations, including in Oracle 12c to 19c migrations
- Relevant experience in database installation and maintenance
- Ability to autonomously migrate large databases with at least 7+ years of experience with XTTS, RMAN CONVERT, and Datapump
- Proficiency in English and French language at a C1/C2 level.
