We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Database Administrator to join our team on a part-time, temporary basis and support our ongoing projects.
Job Overview: The Database Administrator will support our consulting team by collecting, organizing, managing, and analyzing a database. Simultaneously, the Database Manager should work with the consultants to identify tools and processes to improve Kaiser’s collection and management of the dataset. This position is ideal for someone with strong Excel skills, knowledge of common coding languages, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
This is a part-time, short-term role with the possibility of being extended. We offer flexible schedules with the expectation you’ll work 12-20 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Expert Sourcing: Identify and compile lists of industry experts, thought leaders, and relevant contacts using various databases, networks, and online platform
- Data Management: Maintain and update contact databases, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date
- Data Analysis: Develop an analytical tool to assess collection and quality of contacts
- Process/Tool Improvement: Research and recommend process improvements and potential tools to help Kaiser scale the database
- Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Economics, Political Science, Computer Science or a related field
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM or project management tools is a plus
- Research Skills: Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough and detailed research, including the ability to analyze and synthesize information from multiple sources
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with professionals at all levels
- Organization: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and a proactive approach to solving problems
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all work produced.
