You will be part of:
Small agile team primarily based in Czech Republic which take care of internal and external databases.
With us you will be responsible for:
Most frequently:
- Performance analyses (includes writing or adapting (T/) SQL, CMD, PowerShell or similar scripts to use for that purpose)
- Space management, DB reorganization
- Generic database administration & troubleshooting
- Performance tuning
- MSSQL security
Occasionally:
- Installation of MSSQL database
- MSSQL patch installation / version upgrades
- Implement Backups
- Restore/Recovery
- Generic MSSQL database consulting
We expect you to have:
- At least 3 years of professional experience with MSSQL databases administration
- Knowledge of MSSQL 2016 SP2 and newer
- Windows Administration
- Good communication skills in English – written and spoken
Advantage:
- Knowledge of Visual Studio Team Services (Azure DevOps) and GIT
- Agile development workflow
- Knowledge also of MariaDB is a huge advantage
- At least some basic understanding of virtualization (Hyper-V) and network topics (VPN, Firewalls, LAN/WAN)
