Administer, maintain and monitor Microsoft SQL Server databases to ensure high performance, availability and reliability.
Manage database security and user access, ensuring proper permissions and compliance with internal policies.
Monitor database performance and implement query optimization and tuning to improve efficiency.
Manage database backup, recovery and replication, ensuring compliance with business continuity and disaster recovery requirements.
Develop and maintain reporting dashboards and automated reports according to business needs.
Maintain database documentation, schema diagrams and reporting documentation.
Requirements
Proven experience working with Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL) in database administration roles.
Strong knowledge of T-SQL, query optimization and database performance tuning.
Experience with database replication, backup and recovery processes.
Experience developing reports and dashboards using reporting tools and advanced Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Experience in the banking or financial sector is considered an advantage.
