Job Summary:
Under general supervision, develop high level design and detailed design deliverables to meet business requirements/specifications. Code and unit test. Develop or contribute to deliverables for additional levels of testing and support test execution including system level and integration tests. Resolve production problems of low to medium complexity.
Job Specific Information:
This position is for Technical Analyst, a key leader in the FedEx Cloud Dojo. This team's mission is be a positive catalyst for IT cultural and technological transformation across FedEx. This role will assist with leading several key FedEx initiatives including cloud governance, cloud cost management, private/public cloud, and focus on automation.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Lead public cloud cost management tools & processes for FedEx cloud providers
  • Facilitate internal customers to appropriate cloud platform & tooling
  • Technical project management
  • Co-lead Cloud Governance across the Enterprise
  • Ensure all internal customer requests are properly addressed in timely manner
  • Metrics focused methodology to direct business decisions
  • Represent the voice of the customer to elicit, understand, analyze, document, refine and communicate business needs
  • Assist in managing requirements and prioritization through: business value, product strategy, and team capacity
  • Build and leverage solid working relationships with business and product stakeholders
  • Ability to decompose complex business problems
  • Resolves conflicts and remove obstacles that occur


Skills/Knowledge/Experience Considered a Plus:

  • Excellent servant leadership
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Experience in a Technical Analyst, Business Product Analyst, or Technical Product Owner role
  • Familiarity with software development
  • Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts
  • Good knowledge of Agile frameworks
  • Excellent problem solving, conflict-resolution and troubleshooting abilities
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Excellent time management skills


Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, or information systems and/or equivalent formal training or work experience. Two (2) years equivalent work experience in information technology or engineering environment.
Domicile: This position can be domiciled anywhere in the United States.
Remote Work: The ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based on business need.
Relocation: Relocation assistance may be available based on business need.
