Summary

We are hiring a Sr. Director of Strategy and Continuous Improvement to operate at the highest-level of performance, working with T&DS leadership to drive execution of the organization's strategy. This role serves as a trusted advisor to the SVP Technology & Data Science. This role assists in determining and managing top priorities and represents the SVP Technology & Data Science in working with internal and external stakeholders.

The position focuses on ensuring that the organization "does the right things" through strategy and governance, as well as "doing things right" through organizational and operational model development and performance management. The Director of Strategy and Continuous Improvement must be people-oriented with excellent conflict management skills, innate ability to set direction, execute on initiatives cross-functionally, and communicate well across organizational boundaries.

Key Responsibilities

• Partners with the SVP Technology & Data Science in driving technology and information delivery vision, prioritization, road mapping, and leadership alignment thereof
• Is responsible for directing the preparation and review of annual T&DS operating plans/budgets as well as the preparation of requisite forecasts from an operating and capital perspective
• Facilitate T&DS risk management assessments, activities, and organizational reporting
• Is responsible for driving focus and prioritization within the organization through establishing strategic planning and governance principles and processes
• Establishes and implements continuous-improvement programs for the organization
• Partner closely with the teams' HR Business Partner on all people, talent, and performance initiatives

Typical Education

• Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or university.
• Master's degree or equivalent preferred.

Relevant Experience

• 15+ years related experience and/or training
• Experience in business/industry, managing cross-functional teams or projects, and influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders
• Expertise in budget planning, financial management and workforce management
• Broad knowledge of current and emerging technologies, technology directions, and strategic application to business needs, including the ability to differentiate between a relevant trend and hype
• Ability to improve operational efficiency, service delivery and information management
• Ability to forge strong relationships and build rapport with business partners at all levels within the organization
• Strong conflict management and project management skills
