Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and implement complex systems in a modular way
• Influence overall product architecture and patterns
• Drive code reusability within and across organizations
• Ensure that mature DevOps practices are adopted within the organization
• Deeply investigate undefined business problems to identify key needs
• Drive adoption of best practices and agreed up on design patterns
• Critically examine existing processes and systems and implementing improvements
• Attract talent to the team through community involvement, keen interviewing skills, and training more junior interviewers
• Partner with business and technical leaders to manage project commitments in an agile framework, rapidly delivering value to our customers via technology solutions
• Mentor more junior members of the engineering team to develop and perform as highly as possible
• Communicate clearly and effectively in oral and written forms, and be able to present and demonstrate work to technical and non-technical leadership

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of ETL frameworks (e.g. ODI, DataStage, Talend)
• 2+ years of Unix shell scripting
• 2+ years of PL/SQL application coding
• 2+ years of production support rotations
• 2+ years of high level programming language (e.g. Java, Python, C, Node)
• Prior technical or management leadership experience
• Prior experience mentoring junior team members
