Minimum qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience managing technical projects involving cloud products and services in the media and entertainment industry.
  • 5 years of enterprise customer-facing experience, translating customer needs into reference architectures and solutions.
  • 5 years of experience with analytics and AI/ML technologies, including their applications to the media and entertainment industry.



Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in strategy and business development.
  • Experience building analytics and AI/ML products or solutions.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries, build relationships, and import/export talent and ideas to achieve a broader organizational goal in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Ability to quickly learn, understand, and work with emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT and media technology space.
  • Ability to deliver a polished and professional business and technical pitch to C-Suite and board level executives.



About the job

The Google Cloud Industry Solutions team is focused on driving business transformation and accelerating the adoption of Google Cloud across focused industry verticals. We aim to do so by developing and delivering impactful, industry-specific solutions for each vertical, working in conjunction with our industry teams and partners.

As the Industry Solutions Manager within the Google Cloud Media and Entertainment team, you will be responsible for leading Google Cloud's efforts in developing and delivering data-driven solutions for the media industry, globally. You will leverage your extensive industry experience to define, develop, and take to market a portfolio of analytics and AI/ML offerings designed to solve business and technical challenges with data-driven innovation. You will own the management of the solution portfolio, from strategy through market adoption. Your work will involve and rely heavily on collaboration across a cross-functional team.

Additional Information
(Colorado only*) Minimum salary of$132,000 bonus equity benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Develop industry and market assessments, including specific solution opportunity definition and sizing, and packaged/productized analytics and AI/ML solutions that create value for Google Cloud customers and drive market adoption.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering leaders across Google to drive requirements and influence product roadmaps based on market insight and field feedback.
  • Identify key Independent Software Vendor and Systems Integration partners to develop and/or deliver analytics and AI/ML media solutions
  • Develop go-to-market plans and programs for analytics and AI/ML solutions, in collaboration with Field Enablement, Marketing and Sales teams, and set goal accounts, KPIs and metrics for solution adoption.
  • Position Google Cloud Industry Solutions as thought leaders in the global Media and Entertainment market through speaking engagements, authorship, and participation in industry conferences.
