Enterprise Data Engineering is part of the Data Services team. The Data Engineering team builds database solutions for various enterprise use cases including analytics, data science, and financial reporting. We want data to be at the core of everything that the company does.
We need thoughtful, proactive leaders who support their teams, encourage growth, and drive accountability through results. We also desire those who can balance rapid iteration and development with high product quality expectations and who are innovative and comfortable with ambiguity.
What you'll do:

• You are a people leader with a proven record to manage and grow people.
• You understand the value of people and team diversity as you partner up with the recruiting team to build the best in the industry teams.
• You focus on processes and understand how to balance complex priorities and demanding business timelines
• You are able to create a strategic vision for your team that aligns with the Data Services priorities, vision, and mission
• You are able to pivot to achieve quick wins while maintaining strategic priorities in mind.
• You are a technology leader who can act as a knowledge expert and guide a team of engineers in the decision-making process.

What you'll need:

• 7-10+ years of experience working in the field of data engineering, business intelligence, or a related domain.
• 4+ years of hands-on management experience with a track record of hiring and growing teams as well as providing coaching and mentoring
• Exceptional leadership skills, with a proven ability to operate in a fast-moving environment.
• Hands-on approach to closing gaps in data infrastructure and technical execution, able to code in SQL and Python
• Prior experience with Snowflake/Redshift, AWS/Azure, Hadoop/Spark/Big data, Flink/Airflow, dbt
