The team is currently looking for a Senior Data Warehouse & Data Pipelines Architect (Level 5) to join their team.This is a hybrid position that allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. Position Responsibilities:

  • Designs, develops, tests, monitors, manages, and validates data warehouse activity, including data extraction, transformation, movement, loading, cleansing and updating processes.
  • Collaborate with product managers, product owners, technical team members, business stakeholders, and designers to implement data solution services.
  • Develop systems/data migration strategy, roadmap, and plan.
  • Develop the architectures for data and systems and associated artifacts.
  • Evaluates architecture solutions and alternatives to assess suitability for data solution services.
  • Builds data pipelines and transformations, data enrichment processes, provisioning layers, and user interfaces to meet the requirements of key initiatives.
  • Design data services and APIs.
  • Communicates well with developers and key stakeholders to understand design requirements.
  • Engage in technical planning, design, and code reviews.
  • Monitor the implementation of architecture throughout the life cycle and provides technical mentoring, guidance and clarification to other architects and technical implementation resources
  • Participate in DevOps, Agile, and continuous integration frameworks.
  • Understand implementation of best practices with cloud technologies.
  • Produce appropriate documentation and provide reports as requested.
  • Leveraging industry best practices, architecture frameworks, methods, and standards.
  • Ensure that non-functional requirements such as security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability are being considered when architecting solutions.
  • Provide leadership for designing technical solutions.
  • Demonstrate strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Contribute to the ongoing learning and success of the team, and the company, by sharing knowledge through mentorship, collaboration, and aiding in the documentation.
  • Keep job knowledge up-to-date by studying new development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal and professional networks; participating in professional organizations.

Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or related degrees.
  • 6+ years of experience with software design, development, debugging, and performing software integration and test.
  • Experience with database design, data modeling, or object modeling.
  • Experience designing/developing application APIs with REST services.
  • Experience with Agile software development methods.
  • Experience with cloud hosted platform such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with architecture methods, best practices, and techniques for system architecture, data architecture, data modeling, and data security architecture/implementation.
  • Experience in a general-purpose programming language including but not limited to: Rest API, Java, C#, C++, Python.
  • Database development experience includes performance tuning, query optimization, stored procedures, user functions, XML, and database triggers.
  • Working knowledge of databases such as SQL Server, Postgres, Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB.
  • Experience with ETL tools, data conversion tools, data mastering solutions, data analytics, data transformation techniques.
  • Hands on experience in using DevOps techniques and practices.
  • Ability to achieve short and long-term objectives with minimal direction.
  • Known for reliability, responsiveness, attention to detail, and ability to deliver high-quality work products.
  • Results-oriented, resourceful individual with interpersonal skills and the ability to lead, follow, collaborate and influence.

Typical Education & Experience :Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience, 18 years' related work experience, etc.).
