About the team:
Fraud Fusion program provides real-time coverage of existing fraud schemes, improving identification of emerging threats, and increases visibility and response to prevent and successfully react to fraud. Fraud Fusion will reduce fraud losses and exposure while increasing discovery of fraud and response time and sustain a positive client experience.
What you will be doing:
FIS Financial Crimes and Global Fraud Investigations Team oversees collaborative efforts cross-channel in:
• Employ machine learning and statistical modeling to create and enhance data driven products and processes associated with Fraud Fusion and Financial Crime Investigations
• Analyze and extract insights from internal and external data
• Create and present analyses to internal and external partners and clients
• Understand the realities of model development and make pragmatic and business-aware choices when trading-off sophistication and accuracy versus implementation and performance costs
Main duties and responsibilities :
• Work with Big Data and transform complex datasets into more usable formats
• Work with a variety of data science tools and programming languages such as SAS, Python, R, Scala, SQL
• Work independently and collaborate with other groups to solve complex problems
• Document models and write code to track and monitor models and product performance
• Utilize logging mechanisms to proactively identify fraud
• Mitigate fraud losses

• Substantial Fraud Industry Knowledge
• Strong Microsoft Office Tool Familiarity
• Key organizational skills
• Effective Communication and ability to identify diverse approaches for problem solving
Added bonus if you have:
• Internal FIS Business Knowledge
• Data Analytics Degree
• Computer Science Degree
• Cyber Security certifications or associated industry degrees
