Are you an analytics champion with a deep toolset who values helping partners strategize and measure data-driven projects? As a Senior Data Scientist on our Customer Support Services team, you will partner with main business leads, focus on some of the most exciting challenges Atlassian faces.
Some examples of what you will do:

• Work with a teams to improve efficiency in a scaling customer support environment, bringing analytic capabilities and insights to bear
• Develop partnerships with business and operations leaders
• Provide technical expertise in data management, analytic and statistical methods, and data visualization
• Address challenges, performance bottlenecks and growth opportunities with analytic solutions
• Play the role of analytic expert on teams, focused on measurement of new strategies or projects, sizing of opportunities, and understanding of complex systems; always with a mind towards applicable insights and growth

More About You:

• You've been working with data for 5+ years and have a BS degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science or other quantitative fields.
• You have experience building business improving analytic solutions and experience using data to influence operational teams, especially in workforce analytics or people analytics domains.
• You have, love driving strategy, making big changes, and influencing others.
• You have a history of driving measurable impact in close collaboration with operational colleagues.
• You can take an ambiguous assignment and move to deliver iterative value.
• You use multiple tools and methods to find trends and correlations by mining data, and couple that with light-weight tests to prioritize how to propel through complicated problems.
• You are someone who likes to mentor less experienced analysts.
• You combine curiosity with critical thinking, like asking "why" to unravel a seemingly complex problem and get to the cause.
• You know how to gather, document, and interpret requirements; always know how to ask the 'why' underpinning all requests.
• You're a senior 'pillar of the team', demonstrating business acuity, analytics expertise and up-skilling those around you.
• When you encounter a problem you come up with multiple solutions, weigh the tradeoffs and efforts, identify the best path forward, and lead ahead.
