Functions may include database architecture, engineering, design, optimization, security, and administration; as well as data modeling, big data development, Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) development, storage engineering, data warehousing, data provisioning and other similar roles. Responsibilities may include Platform-as-a-Service and Cloud solution with a focus on data stores and associated eco systems. Duties may include management of design services, providing sizing and configuration assistance, ensuring strict data quality, and performing needs assessments. Analyzes current business practices, processes and procedures as well as identifying future business opportunities for leveraging data storage and retrieval system capabilities.
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Senior SQL Report Developer
  • Gather and analyze business requirements
  • Design and create Report/Dashboards/Documents using various Data Warehouses
  • Develop technical specifications and design documents
  • Develop, enhance, integrate Business Intelligence Solutions
  • Test Report/Dashboards/Documents from Data Warehouses/Data Marts
  • Operations and Maintenance support activities
  • Report documentation and report testing
  • Perform data analysis

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of IT work experience in Report Development using any Business Intelligence tool
  • 5+ years of IT work experience to write/analyze/test/debug code in Oracle PL/SQL
  • 5+ years of IT work experience to analyze and gather business requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in understanding data flow diagrams, data model diagrams and performing data analysis
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office products
  • Solid experience in writing SQL and good working knowledge of Oracle database
  • Develop SQL scripts for various reporting and ad-hoc analysis
  • Ability to write custom SQL using joins, group functions, inline views, sub queries to troubleshoot complex data issues
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster doses must also comply with those state requirements. Preferred Qualifications:

  • Healthcare industry experience
  • Familiarity with Informatica ETL tools; Tableau; MicroStrategy
  • Exposure to Big Data / Hadoop Report development
  • Exposure with Teradata and / OR Neteeza appliance technologies
  • Good understanding of Data Warehousing design and concepts
  • Good documentation and application development testing skills
