Opportunity Overview
Cohere is looking for an experienced analyst to join our growth team as we seek to expand to new payer clients. Reporting to the VP of Payer Solutions, you will be a key member of the growth & strategy function, leading research and analysis to inform Cohere’s go-to-market strategy. As a Senior Analyst you will gain invaluable experience supporting the commercial function of a high-growth digital health company, supporting go-to-market activities from strategy through execution. You will be charged with developing a deep understanding of our customers’ needs by leading market and competitive intelligence activities to inform our go-to-market strategies. We are looking for a creative, tenacious analyst and researcher who can generate insight on our market and distill findings for an executive audience. Finally, you will work closely with the rest of the growth team to assist on complex solution sales, by helping prepare pitch materials, ROI analyses, and proposals, and supporting deal execution.

What you will do:
- Become an expert on market trends impacting utilization management and related clinical functions within health plans (e.g., care management, digital health, value-based care)
- Lead market intelligence activities to inform Cohere’s go-to-market strategy:
- Develop prospect research to in depth sales plans for key accounts
- Conduct competitive research to describe challenges and opportunities for Cohere
- Support sales team with sales and deals execution
- Contribute analysis to ROI assessments
- Support team in developing pitch and proposal materials
- Assist teams in moving from pitch to close by serving in project management capacity
Your Background & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) required
- 2-3 years of experience in similar role for a health-tech company, healthcare consulting, or health plan. Management consulting experience desirable.
- Familiarity with health plans, digital health, value-based care preferred
- Strong verbal and written communications skills (esp. via PowerPoint and Google Slides)
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical ability. Comfortable with financial analysis
- Intellectually curious, able to self-start research initiatives. Exhibits owner mentality.
- Experience managing projects independently, from project plan definition through execution
- Experience and interest in being a utility player on teams - willingness to roll up sleeves and help wherever required is a necessity, A strong team player and collaborator
- Start-up ready mindset - progress over polish, and comfortable with ambiguity
