Job Description
The IT Hardware Asset Management Analyst is responsible for the strategic management of technology-related hardware within the organization. This includes planning, monitoring, and recording hardware assets to ensure compliance. The individual will assist in forming procurement strategies and will develop and implement procedures for tracking company assets to oversee quality control throughout the lifecycle.
The primary function of this role is to maintain hardware inventory of IT serialized equipment (computers, tablets, servers, telecom, mainframe, midrange, storage, scanners, monitors, virtual machines, etc.). The Hardware Asset Management analyst will manage inventory processes, asset records, and interfaces to ensure 100% data accuracy enabling sound business decisions concerning IT-related purchases and redistribution that result in the best use of existing asset resources and avoidance of unnecessary asset costs.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:• Formulate and implement processes, procedures and systems for tracking and analyzing software, hardware, and equipment from requisition through retirement.• Account for IT assets throughout the enterprise utilizing tools to manage all assets within the organization and affiliated companies.• Define and maintain lifecycle support and implementation of tools such as ServiceNow configuration.• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and Infrastructure leads for the assignments of IT hardware and related products.• Develop and conduct training as needed for use by department level staff to maintain inventory.• Provide expertise on Asset Management life cycle to multiple stakeholders and partner vendors.• Manage acquisition of assets from planning through deployment.• Verify, enter, and adjust equipment IT asset management data.• Track entire life-cycle management for each asset to maintain warranty information, refresh date, and end of life data information.• Establish metrics and reporting for asset compliance.• Provide various asset reports including but not limited to status, maintenance, end of life, asset location.• Conduct monthly inventory audits and develop process and procedures to ensure accuracy.• Develop and maintain working relationships with various stakeholders from multiple divisions and reporting levels.• Respond to customer inquiries received via Asset Management mailbox.• Other duties as assigned.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a fully remote position
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 43,700
Maximum: 97,400
Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years IT experience

Preferred Qualifications
IAITAM Certification, such as CHAMP, CSAM, and CITAM

Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
